Reporter’s Notebook: In Solidarity With Hazaras

They have refused to bury the bodies of their loved ones. Almost a hundred coffins and thousands of Hazaras face a second night on Quetta’s cold and dark streets, waiting for the Pakistani government to step up–and give them the protection that they have been waiting for, for years.

Hundreds have joined Hazaras in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and Multan, staging solidarity sit-ins and protests. See our shots below.
